Webinar: I have an idea for a book. What next? (Or: How to write a book)

You’re pretty sure you want to write a book, but you have a lot of questions about the process of getting the words on the page. Where and how do I start? Where do I find good advice? How do I organize all my ideas? Where do I begin my research? Whether you write fiction or non-fiction, this hands-on workshop will help you find the answers to these questions, and more, and send you home with solid strategies for starting your writing journey.

About Heather Wright

Heather Wright and I are running this workshop together. We call ourselves the Zwei Writers From K-W. Heather’s a Kitchener author, writing coach, and Amazon bestseller who loves working with writers of all ages. Her how-to-write books and journals are for anyone who is interested in writing that book on their bucket list or who knows someone who does. She has also created an online Writing Camp for Teen Writers to fill those “I’m bored” moments during Christmas and March Breaks and summer vacation. Years of writing and teaching experience have helped Heather write over 20 books that focus on the craft of writing.

What I’ll Share about How to Write a Book

And me? Well, you know me 😊. But I can tell you what I’ll be talking about when it comes to how to write a book:

  • How I write a book in 170 hours that’s 45,000 words
  • How I don’t write a book in over 1,100 hours and five years
  • The realistic way to work with kids of different ages (it’s not worthy of a Hollywood movie, sorry)
  • How to see the special idea in your “boring” idea
