Webinar: What you need to know about self-publishing
April 25 @ 1:00 pm - 3:30 pm$20 – $26
You’re getting close to finishing your book, and you think you want to publish it yourself. We can help you avoid the scams and costly mistakes that can plague first-time self-publishers. We’ll guide you through the process of submitting to Amazon, provide options for creating a professional interior and cover, and make sure that you have a list of trustworthy resources. With over 30 self-published books between us, we can save you time and money and smooth out the road to your first self-published book.
About Heather Wright
Heather Wright and I are running this workshop together. We call ourselves the Zwei Writers From K-W. Heather’s a Kitchener author, writing coach, and Amazon bestseller who loves working with writers of all ages. Her how-to-write books and journals are for anyone who is interested in writing that book on their bucket list or who knows someone who does. She has also created an online Writing Camp for Teen Writers to fill those “I’m bored” moments during Christmas and March Breaks and summer vacation. Years of writing and teaching experience have helped Heather write over 20 books that focus on the craft of writing.
What I’ll Share about Self-Publishing at the Workshop
And me? Well, you know me 😊. But I can tell you what I’ll be talking about:
- How different books look when printed by different printers
- Down-to-earth sales advice
- How to not find a graphics designer (and how to find a really good one)
- What to look for in an editor and how to properly test them out
- A suggested schedule for self-published authors
